The new Generation of Air Purification & Disinfection Technology
Aura Air targets and disinfects 99.9 % of viruses, bacteria, mold, and VOCs. It removes gasses and captures 99.9 % of airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns, including allergens.
Unlike previous-generation systems, which at best, display a basic AQI reading and maybe humidity, the Aura Air Filter system accurately measures and displays PM2.5, PM10, VOC, Temperature, Humidity, CO and CO2 levels from its seven integrated high-precision integrated sensors – every 10 seconds. All of this information is displayed in an easy to read manner on the App.
Potentially dangerous airborne “aerosol droplets’ that are known to carry the coronavirus in the air, emitted from infected people, remain in the air for 30 minutes or more and need real-time monitoring. These are the PM2.5 and PM10 measurements which correspond to particulate sizes between 1 and 10 microns in size.
Aura Air uses patented AI learning to optimise the control of air quality. It truly is “smart” – for instance detecting conditions where the COVID-19 virus is known to be at its most dangerous – or just simply detecting dangerous levels of gases or pollutants in a room. Israel’s Sheba Medical Center, which has treated more than 300 COVID-19 patients since March 2020, is piloting the use of the unique air filtration, disinfection and monitoring system from Aura Air, spanning almost the entire duration of the COVID-19 Pandemic. The compact Aura Air system has now also been tested in staff rooms, operating rooms of patients diagnosed with the virus and rooms of at-risk patients.
In previous lab experiments, the unique Aura Air system demonstrated an average of 99 percent effectiveness against influenza viruses H1N1 and H5N1, heavily contributed to by its unique Copper-impregnated HEPA Filter and patented Sterionizer technology.
KILLS MORE THAN 99% OF VIRUSES
Unlike other Air Filters which are at best 4-stage, AuraAir uses SIX stages of air purification and disinfection, in a very aggressive manner, to really address, not just particulates, but viruses, bacteria & mould through a variety of innovative as well as traditional technologies.
Whereas other systems typically employ ONLY UV-C light to kill viruses and bacteria, Aura Air uses UV-C LEDs together with two patented technologies – special Copper impregnation inside the core of the HEPA Filter and the unique Sterionizer technology.
Air is first sucked in through the easily removable and washable Pre-Filter to remove larger particles of airborne dust. The latest technology fan used has a CADR of 206CFM (350m3/hour), better than many, much larger, floor standing units.
Air then passes through the HEPA filter – a 99.45% effective filter of particles down to 0.18 microns in size. This only needs to be typically changed every six months – see 3. below;
Unlike other Filters that build up viruses and bacteria inside the filter – a patented smart copper impregnation inside the Ray Filter aggressively kills the viruses, bacteria. Copper is a well known for its anti-microbial properties
There is also a CARBON layer inside the Ray Filter which absorbs Volatile organic compounds and bad odours
Then UV-C LEDs or sometimes called a “Germicidal Lamp” further reduces bacteria, viruses and mould concentrations
